March to a Million – A Center for the Arts

Hopkinton turns 300 years old in 2015 and the Endowment wants to give our community a birthday present.

Did you know Hopkinton was actually originally founded by an endowment? Like colleges and universities, a $1 Million dollar endowment could greatly strengthen the fiscal solvency of the community. And though our original plans called for building our “savings account” to this level, we’ve decided to go in a different direction…

A New Center for the Arts

Working with the Enter Stage Left Theater and the Cultural Arts Alliance, the Endowment is dedicated to raising money for a new Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Phase 1 will finish the barn on the Hayden Rowe site and Phase 2 will bring a state-of-the-art performing arts center to Hopkinton. What a birthday present!!
